Details of the upcoming handset from popular smartphone brand Redmi are available on the FCC website. Features of the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus found on the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) website in the USA under the model number 20191116UG.
The Redmi Note 11 has launched in India under the name Redmi Note 11T5G. It is also noteworthy that in the international market it has been renamed as Poco M4 Pro 5G.
Out of the multitude of Redmi Note 11 phones out there, this may be the one to get. Unless, you live in India, where this phone is not part of the model family but name the Xiaomi 11i.HyperCharge 5G.
You see, India already has a Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, but it’s not the one we are reviewing today. Don’t blame us, blame Xiaomi for this mess. We did review that other one, too.
The upcoming Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G has a 6.67-inch Samsung AMOLED display with a 20: 9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate.
It has a 360Hz touch sample rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The MediaTek Dimension 920 processor is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.
It features a 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel 50mm telephoto lens triple rear camera. The selfie camera is of 16 megapixels.
The smartphone is powered by a large 4,500 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
It is report that the handset will have a Type-C port for charging. fully charged within 15 minutes. It also has a side mounted fingerprint reader system for biometric security.
Everything started late last year with the first Redmi Note 11 Pro models announced – they were China-exclusive devices based on the Dimensity 920 5G chipset. The Pro model had a 5,160mAh battery with 67W fast charging, while the Pro+ packed a 4,500mAh cell with 120W charging.
So, this Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G is in fact the global model of the mentioned Chinese Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, but it is also a twin sibling of the India-exclusive Xiaomi 11i.
The Note 11 Pro + 5G runs on Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 OS. The main connectivity options are Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, 5G and the headphone jack. The Redmi Note 11 models are success in China, with over five lakh units sold within an hour of launch.
