Add a vaccination card to Apple Wallet
With this iOS 15.1 update, you can securely download and store and add COVID-19 vaccine card to Apple Wallet in the Health app and add a vaccination card to Wallet.
Scan QR code
You can scan a QR code given to you by your COVID-19 vaccination or test provider to add your verifiable health records to the Health app.
- Open Camera app from your iphone.
- Select the rear camera.
- Hold your device the QR code appears in Camera app. Your device recognizes the QR code and will show Health app notification.
- Touch on Health app Notification.
- To verify your vaccination records, tap Add to Wallet & Health to add the record.
- Tap Done.
Download file
You can download a verifiable health record given to you by your COVID-19 vaccination or test provider to add the records to the Health app.
- Tap the download link on your iPhone.
- To verify your vaccination records, tap Add to Wallet & Health to add the record.
- Tap Done.
Record Stored in the Health App
- Open Health app.
- Tap Summary.
- Under Vaccination Record, tap Add to Wallet
Check Vaccination Cards in Wallet
Once you add your vaccination card to the Wallet app, you can view and present it at any time. The front of the card shows your name, the vaccine type, the dates of the doses administered, the issuer, and the QR code.add COVID-19 vaccine card to Apple Wallet in the Health app and add a vaccination card to Wallet.
The full details of your vaccination card won’t be visible until you’ve authenticated with Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode.
Your vaccination card can’t be shared with anyone who have iPhone, iPod touch, or Apple Watch.
